while participating as a plenary speaker in the Pre-COP31 Dialogue and Consultation on โPakistanโs Road to COP31 Tรผrkiyeโ, convened by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) in collaboration with the Pakistan Renewable Energy Coalition (PREC) in Islamabad.
The consultation brought together representatives from government, the Pakistan COP31 delegation, provincial and regional institutions, academia, youth and womenโs organisations, affected communities, UN agencies and diplomatic missions to deliberate on #Pakistanโs priorities for #COP31 across mitigation, adaptation and climatefinance, and to identify pathways for translating these priorities into the national negotiating position.
Speaking at the opening plenary, the CEO underscored the importance of a strong, coordinated and action-oriented national climate agenda, with greater emphasis on translating #Pakistanโs climate commitments into investments, partnerships and tangible resilience outcomes.
NDRMFโs participation reflects its continued engagement in advancing climate resilience, disaster risk financing and investment-oriented approaches as Pakistan prepares for COP31.
