For climate-vulnerable Pakistan, the priority is to move beyond reactive disaster response towards anticipatory planning, investable resilience solutions, and sustainable financing. Stronger science–policy partnerships and regional cooperation are essential to turning knowledge into implementation, protecting development gains, and building long-term resilience.
Key Takeaways:
Science to Solutions: Translate research into real-world impact.
Bankable Resilience Projects: Develop investment-ready projects that mobilize public, international and private-sector financing.
Pakistan’s Priority: Shift from post-disaster recovery towards prevention, preparedness and proactive investment.
Resilience by Design: Integrate climate and disaster risks into development planning and infrastructure from the outset.
