- Event Highlight-Pre-COP High Level Dialogue on Pakistan’s Roadmap for COP 28 set to take place on Wednesday, 22nd November 2023
- Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC &E) in collaboration with National Disaster Risk Management Fund is representing Pakistan Perspective at COP 28 being held at Dubai.
- COP is supreme decision-making body of UNFCCC, that meets annually to assess progress in dealing with climate change, adopt policy measures and set globally effective targets.
- Every year COP is hosted in a different region. Host country also serves as the Presidency of the conference. COP 28 will be hosted by United Arab Emirates in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023.
