Project Description

The project area is in District Larkana is highly vulnerable to floods. The proposed flood mitigation measure will serve all communities especially farmers, labourers and the poor who are most vulnerable to destruction brought upon by floods in case of failure of flood defences. The recoupment of damaged T-Head Spur and Stone Apron will reduce the vulnerability of District Larkana and create a sense of security among people. Human settlements/ lives will be protected and surrounding physical infrastructure will be sheltered from potential flooding.
