Main objective of the project is to protect the lives and livelihoods of the local population along with critical infrastructure. After successful execution of the project, the following prime objectives will be achieved:
- Restoration & Strengthening of Dams.
- Slope Stabilization.
- Enhancement of Life of Dams.
- Significant Ground Water Recharge.
- Protection of Population from flood havoc.
- Protection of Physical Infrastructure.
- Protection of Precious Human Lives.
- Drought mitigation through restoration and strengthening and enhancement of life of Dams.
- The interventions have been contributing in Significant Ground water recharge.
- Slope stabilization was ensured by the project interventions.
- Protection of lives and livelihoods of the local population.
- Protection of physical infrastructure.
A more disaster-resilient Baluchistan with reduced socioeconomic and fiscal vulnerability to natural hazards and climate variability and change.

Targeted Beneficiary
The project area has been prone to the floods during heavy rains. The flash floods from hill torrents result in devastation engulfing almost entire areas because of high velocity and magnitude. The rainfall in July and August 2022 broke all the previous records and the high magnitude flash floods proved to be a catastrophe causing irreparable loss to precious human lives and public and private infrastructure. The sites were severely damaged during the flash floods and required immediate restoration. Main objective of the project was to protect the lives and livelihoods of the local population along with critical infrastructure. Following schemes were completed under the project:
