Project Description

The project was designed in the aftermath of monsoon/flash flood 2022. Taking into account findings from field observation; feedback from community, government line departments, and stakeholders; and experience of implementing earlier phase of NDRMF-funded project, RAPID II had prioritized 04 damaged mega flood protection schemes in district DI Khan for reconstruction & rehabilitation. Ultimate objective was to promote effective disaster risk reduction and improve the resilience of vulnerable population of Balochistan.
