The meeting was attended by CEO NDRMF, Bilal Anwar, Manager DRF Mubushar Hussain,  Dr. Muhammad Imran, Team Lead, NatCat representatives from SUPARCO Dr Farooq and ADB Team headed by Mr. Nathan Rive, Senior Climate Change Specialist ADB.

Meeting commenced with opening remarks from the CEO NDRMF focusing on recent developments in the NatCat initiatives. Dr. Muhammad Imran provided an overview of the NatCat Modules and the technical capabilities of the Data Center followed by technical insights by the SUPPARCO Team.

1. ADB inquired about projected user traffic for the NatCat Modeling and Risk Calculator Interface, seeking estimates of monthly average users by the end of 2027.
2. The necessity of utilizing registration/login data for gender segregation was discussed.
3. Integration strategies with BISP, NDMA, PDMAs and subsequent steps were discussed.
4. Updates were inquired on the addition of future hazard modules including landslides, tsunamis, urban floods in five major cities, flash floods at Nari River, and heatwaves.
5. Potential linkages with the insurance sector and future directions were explored.

The meeting concluded with a guided tour of the NatCat facilities, providing a brief introduction to the hardware and software infrastructure.
